Follow a Conversation
The Follow feature lets you subscribe to a conversation to keep tabs on all of its updates, and is available on the Standard and Plus plans. This article talks about how to follow or unfollow a conversation.

Follow a conversation
Click into the conversation you would like to follow. Open the More Actions option from the main conversation menu (…), and select Follow. You'll see a green confirmation message stating that you are now following that conversation. Pro-tip: O is the keyboard shortcut for Follow, to skip a few clicks!
You will start receiving email notifications alerting you when any of the following actions happen:
- The customer replies
- Another Help Scout User replies
- A note is added
- The conversation assignment changes
Click Unfollow link at the bottom of any email notification. The link will open in Help Scout and you'll see a confirmation that you have unfollowed the conversation.
In Help Scout, head into the conversation, click on the
More Actions (
…) menu and select
Unfollow. You'll see a confirmation message that you have unfollowed the conversation.

There are two ways to unfollow a conversation.
