eBay and Amazon with ChannelReply

ChannelReply is a messaging platform that helps you support all of your e-commerce customers straight from Help Scout! ChannelReply delivers your eBay and Amazon buyer messages and lets you answer them just like normal emails. Any replies sent from Help Scout will be sync'ed back to eBay and Amazon, respectively. 

When you install the ChannelReply app for Help Scout, you'll have all of your customer's order details at your fingertips. Beyond simple messaging, the integration will also bring in customer order details from both eBay and Amazon and display the information right in the customer sidebar. You can also subscribe to resolution center updates (eBay) and mark conversations as no response needed (Amazon), all without leaving Help Scout.

Activation Instructions

First, you'll want to set up a mailbox in Help Scout so that you can easily send your notifications to that email address. Check out this article for help on how to get started with that.

Log in to your ChannelReply account and head to the CRM page here. Select Help Scout then click Authorize Help Scout Account.

Next, log in to your Help Scout account when prompted and click the blue Authorize button.

In the Default Mailbox field, enter the email address of one of your Help Scout mailboxes. While your eBay and Amazon messages will be delivered to this mailbox by default, you’ll be able to choose a different mailbox for each marketplace account you connect.

Click the green Test Help Scout Connection button to test the integration connection. When successful, click Save.
