Add Beacon to a Squarespace site

Squarespace is an all-in-one solution for anyone looking to create a beautiful website. Beacon provides on demand Docs, chat, and an email contact form rolled into one helpful widget you can plug right into your Squarespace site.

If you've built and hosted your website on Squarespace, embedding Beacon is as easy as a simple copy and paste.

1

Create a new Beacon, or head to the Installation tab for an existing Beacon, and grab the embed code. Just click the Copy button to get that code on your clipboard.

2
In Squarespace, click on Settings in your site builder side bar.

3
From the Settings Menu, click on Advanced.

4
Choose Code Injection from the Advanced Settings menu.

5
In Code Injection, paste the Beacon embed code you copied in step 2 in the Header field.

6
Save, refresh, and you're all set! You'll see the Beacon widget load on your site.

If you want to try your hand at adding some of the features of the Beacon JavaScript API, you'd pop that code into the same spot in your Squarespace site. Check out Advanced Beacon Customization for some ideas on what's possible!
